OUR STORY
We celebrated Karmaveer Jayanti On September 22, 2019, a friendly meeting was held at our Mahatma Gandhi Vidhyalaya, Nira. We all decided to do something for the school we studied at that time. Hence the idea is to establish trust for both our school’s educational improvement and financial support.
Principal Shrimantrao Bhosle Institution
Principal Srimantrao Bhosale took over the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi Vidhyalaya in 1976. He immediately started re-planning the educational activities in the school. Important activities were started that were necessary for the students of rural areas. Labs are updated. Especially in class 10, the failure rate in English and Mathematics was high. Special emphasis was placed on studying with extra smell in the morning. Of course, the cooperation of all the teachers is necessary to do all this. Bhosle Sir also did such a great job of creating motivation among these teachers that the atmosphere of the school changed. In 10th then there was one semester and one practice exam. Bhosle sir started taking five practice exams in a year. So the tension of the final SSC exam went away. As a result of all this, the result of the 1978-79 batch was 91 percent. It was a particularly proud event in the rural areas then, as the exams were difficult compared to today. After this, the school never looked back. Even today, everyone is aware of how good the quality of the school we studied at was. Today, many of Sir’s students are working in high positions in various fields in the country, leading in various professions.
Bhosle sir had accepted the profession of spreading education on the inspiration of Karmaveer. After retirement, he decided to focus on home farming and modernized the farm. Even today at the age of ninety, Bhosle Sir is working in agriculture at Sarkoli near Pandharpur.
When the idea of setting up a trust came up, the Machi students and teachers decided that it should be done in the name of an inspiring and respected person like Bhosale sir. Accordingly, on this Karmaveer Jayanti, we are happy to inform you that we have received the registration of “Principal Srimantarao Bhosale Pratishthan” by charity commissioner office pune on September 22, 2020. We recieved ‘F’ certificate from Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 in jully 2021. Mr. Kishor Bhore Advt. guided for this work.
